What to Expect at the Fair

What should I bring with me to the Fair?
You should attend the Fair in comfortable clothing, such as tennis shoes and jeans, especially if you are planning to take a self-defense seminar or get a mammogram. Please bring adequate clothes for your child as well. A sweatshirt or sweater is always advisable in case the facility is cold.
May I bring my children?
Yes, Participants may bring their children to the Fair. Children under one year of age will remain with their mothers. Free child care will be provided for children aged 1 to 11, and a free Teen Center will be provided for children and teenagers aged 12 to 18.
Will food and drink be provided?
Yes. Breakfast and lunch is provided for both women and children. Bottled water and snacks for children are also available.
How long should I plan to stay?
The Fair begins at 8:30 a.m. and lasts until 3:00 p.m. Buses transporting women and children will begin to leave at approximately 2:15 p.m. It is best to come early so you may have time to utilize all of the services provided.
