Attorneys
SDVLP offers attorneys a wide range of volunteer opportunities. Most attorneys donate their legal expertise by providing advice at a legal clinic or pro bono representation to an SDVLP client. Our case list offers a wide range of litigation and transactional opportunities. In addition to pro bono representation, attorneys can participate in an SDVLP legal clinic, assist in legal trainings, serve as mentor attorneys, or volunteer at the SDVLP office. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the form below and you will be contacted to further discuss how to get involved.
HOW TO APPLY
SDVLP offers law students an opportunity to gain practical legal skills while helping San Diego County’s low income community. SDVLP has in-office and clinic volunteer positions throughout the year. If working in-office, law students work closely with an SDVLP attorney in providing legal assistance to clients. Please note that space is limited for in-office volunteers. Law students are also encouraged to consider volunteering at SDVLP legal clinics to conduct legal intakes for individual SDVLP clients. SDVLP has a particular need for Spanish speakers.
