DESCRIPTION:Are you an attorney interested in helping low-income tenants facing eviction? If so\, please join San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program for an upcoming virtual MCLE designed specifically to train attorneys to volunteer at our new Remote Eviction Notice Legal Clinic. Learn about the eviction process\, notice requirements\, and tenant rights. SDVLP will provide prospective volunteers with practical advice about what to expect at the clinic\, and review SDVLP’s interview assessment tool\, created specifically to help volunteers interview clients at this clinic. After the training\, you will have the opportunity to practice your new skills by signing up for an upcoming legal clinic.
