Children & Youth Law
SDVLP works with caregivers and parents to facilitate the placement of at-risk children in the homes of loving relatives and family friends. We also assist children in foster care by advocating for their educational rights, providing opportunities for growth after they leave the foster care system. Additionally, SDVLP assists families with obtaining a predicate order for undocumented minors in Family or Probate Court, enabling them to seek permanent resident immigration status and providing long-term stability.
