SDVLP is proud to return as a provider at this year’s Stand Down event on Friday, August 8 and Saturday August 9. Starting at 9am each day, SDVLP staff attorneys and volunteers will provide free civil legal advice to veterans on topics such as public benefits, housing, discrimination, debt relief, and more. Stand Down is an annual, multi-day event dedicated to serving unhoused and at-risk veterans and their families. This event, organized by Veterans Village of San Diego, is intended as a “one-stop shop” for veterans, bringing services and resources to them in one convenient location.
